Modsquad fan and wife of Modsquad fill in Mitch Borello, Ivanka Borello, lost her "finger lickin' mind" while waiting patiently online at the local Dunkin Donuts.

Borello (age unknown/not listed to protect from potential stalking co-worker) tried to pay for her small iced coffee (very light and sweetened with Extra, for those who need to know) with her credit card.

Sadly, the machine did not work.

Borello (photo: far right) instantly laced into the cashier woman, riping her a new one using some crazy foreign language that this reporter has never even heard of.

911 reports confirm that this is the exact exchange between Borello and the cashier woman:

IM: "¿Por qué la máquina no funciona?"

Cashier: "No sé!"

IM: ¿Dónde está la biblioteca?

Cashier: "No sé!"

IM: ¡Usted miente!

Cashier: "No sé
!"

IM: Muy bien, pagaré con efectivo.

Cashier: ¡gracias!

It's too bad that no one on the Modsquad Staff can understand or write in Spanish. By the looks at it though, she was pissed.

On a side note, the staff at Modsquadsoftball.blogspot.com is currently looking for a Spanish writer. Inquire within.

Write a funny caption, win a yet to be determined prize!

Click on the photo for a larger view. Keep the captions relatively clean. Good Luck!

You're probably wondering; "What happens when a MoDimes uber blogger visits the world's 1,943,237,304 Most Popular Blog Site"? We've got your answer.

Absolutely nothing.

That's according to MoDimes Manager of Newspaper and Media Relations and Blogger Elizabeth Lynch, who, for some unknown reason refuses to visit the greatest blog ever created
(that's dedicated to a company softball team located in White Plains NY and rhymes with the phrase "Parch of Limes".)

Lynch will repeatedly ask how the softball team is doing, and is repeatedly given the answer, "Check the Blog". Research has shown, however, that Lynch proposes that modsquadsoftball.blogspot.com is not "a real blog".

Lynch's refusal to visit the site has driven at least one member of the Modsquad Reporting Staff to take drastic measures to ensure that Lynch eventually sees the
site.

The reporter, who wishes to remain nameless, had this to say about his involvement in getting Lynch to read the blog; "I've pretty much done everything with the exception of begging her. I've hired a pilot to write the web address in the sky, outside of her house. I've tried to bribe the IT folks into setting her Citrix homepage to the blog. I even arranged the raisins in her morning oatmeal to spell out "READ BLOG"."

One Modsquad team member suggested that "The next time she wants a video for the Unity Conference, I'm going to need proof that she read the blog, ask her to print out a page."

The A/V geek went on to add "Why are you even writing an article about Lynch not reading the blog, she's not going to read it anyway..."

When asked to comment on why she won't read the blog, Lynch refused to acknowledge that this article would ever be written. Basically, a tree-fall-no-one-listen type: "If I don't read the blog, does it actually exist?"

If you see Lynch in the hall, or by the cafeteria, or getting in/out of her car, be sure to ask her..."Did you read the blog yet?"

MODSQUAD Fan Flashley Cohenderson was arrested (reprimanded) for a flashing incident during Wednesday's MODSQUAD games against rival squad, Two Four.

Two Four Pitcher, Cecil B. Cribaby, complained in the fifth inning to home plate umpire that a girl was flashing him and the rest of the players on the field, a major distraction, according to Cribaby.

Cohendersonwas escorted off the field, after being restrained by multiple non-flashing fans.

According to the official police report, Cohenderson kept yelling "That'll be the first and last time anyone flashes in your direction!"

Editors Note: The Flashing Incident described above does not reflect actual events. Our "hotshot" reporter got out of hand and failed to mention the flashing was caused by Covelli's Canon Digital Rebel Still Camera. We regret any misunderstanding, and look forward to seeing Cohenderson and her lawyers in court next week.

Since the poll voting was such a huge success (and almost violently competitive) we're proud to announce the launching of a new fan feature; "FIND THE FAN".

"FIND THE FAN" is a online scavenger hunt complete with scoring, standings, and of course, a penguin dressed in a cheerleader suit.

The goal of the scavenger hunt is to locate the penguin (see image on left) on one of the pages throughout the site. The first three fans to email the correct location of the penguin will receive points (5 for 1st, 3 for second, and 1 for third). Email: climamod@mac.com

Every day, at a randomly selected time (whenever I get around to it) the Penguin will appear on one of the pages. Sometimes, the Penguin will be hidden deep in the site, sometimes he'll be a little more "out in the open". Remember, you're looking for the correctly "branded" Penguin with the purple outfit. Any other color Penguin doesn't count.

Good luck, and may the most dedicated "Fan Finder" win! (Prizes will be announced soon). Today's "Fan" can be found without much trouble!

Note: Penguins found in banners or ads don't count. Ex: Top Banner on this page or the upcoming Player Profile Banner. Look for The Fan to be hidden somewhere on the site tomorrow.

This section of the site is currently under construction. If you have any feedback, items you'd like to see added, or just general suggestions, please use the form to the right of the blog.
Thanks!

Welcome to the new MODSQUAD SOFTBALL Fan Site! This site is dedicated to you, the fan.

The ones who show up tirelessly to every game.

The ones who cheer and holler when we're down by ten runs.

The ones who slap us on the back and remind us that there's always next time.

The ones who could probably make it a close game, if we ever scrimmaged each other.

Thanks for stopping by, and make sure that you subscribe to the posts, so that you're updated on all the latest MODSQUAD fan info.
